Explore the Island’s Wild North and Manrique’s Timeless Legacy

This journey through northern Lanzarote celebrates two iconic forces: the island’s volcanic soul and the visionary legacy of César Manrique, Lanzarote’s most celebrated artist.

Volcán de la Corona & The Guinate Viewpoint - Breathtaking Views And The Volcano That Carved Lanzarote

After the morning pickups, we head toward the majestic "Volcán de la Corona" pausing first at the Guinate viewpoint, to take in breathtaking views of the "Chinijo Archipelago" and the island of La Graciosa.

It’s the perfect moment to capture unforgettable photos and soak in the serenity of the northern coast.

We then continue to the "Volcán de la Corona", where you’ll witness the raw power of nature and imagine the explosive force that carved out its dramatic crater. This volcano gave birth to Lanzarote’s most famous lava tubes — the foundations for two of Manrique’s most iconic creations: Jameos del Agua and Cueva de los Verdes.

Haría - Discover Lanzarote’s green oasis, a cute village wrapped in palm‑filled valleys

Our route takes us through the charming village of Haría, nestled in the lush "Valle de las Mil Palmeras" (Valley of a Thousand Palms), offering sweeping panoramic views of one of the island’s greenest corners.

Cueva de los Verdes - The World’s Longest Volcanic Tunnel

Next, we enter the legendary "Cueva de los Verdes" (known locally as the "Green Caves), the longest volcanic tunnel in the world. As you descend into its depths, you’ll be surrounded by the very walls shaped by the lava flow from the Corona volcano — a surreal experience that feels like stepping into the Earth itself.

The guided tour takes you through three striking chambers and ends in a surprising underground auditorium, designed to harness the cave’s extraordinary acoustics.

And yes, there’s a secret hidden inside the cave… but we won’t spoil it for you.

Jameos del Agua - Where Art, Nature and Volcanic Beauty Become One!

Our final stop brings us to the magical "Jameos del Agua", a natural space formed by three volcanic openings. The first, "Jameo Chico", welcomes you with a cafeteria that blends seamlessly into the volcanic surroundings.

As we move beyond "Jameo Chico", we reach the "Túnel of Atlántida" (The Atlantis Tunnel), a serene underground lagoon that is home to a rare and endemic species of tiny blind, albino crabs known locally as "Jameítos" (Munidopsis polymorpha).

Measuring less than a centimeter, these fascinating creatures are one of Lanzarote’s most iconic natural treasures.

From here, a beautifully designed staircase, which is a perfect example of César Manrique’s dream of uniting art and nature, leads us to "Jameo Grande". This open space reveals stunning crystal‑blue pools set against a striking white backdrop, surrounded by native flora such as Canary Island palm trees and an impressive collection of cacti.

The final area of "Jameos del Agua" features an extraordinary auditorium built inside the volcanic tube, where the third opening, "Jameo de la Cazuela", creates a natural acoustic environment ideal for concerts and cultural events.

This journey through the enchanting north of Lanzarote, visiting its most iconic and meaningful sites, is an experience that will stay with you long after it ends.

A tour you simply can’t miss!
